   This humidifier requires frequent cleaning as residue and other more harmful agents may accumulate without thorough cleaning. Cleaning takes me about 5 minutes in the kitchen sink, I use a bottle brush to clean the long skinny bit in the water reservoir. The unit is very quiet. I like to use essential oils but sometimes the souls stain the base of the unit.

   Easy to use and works great for the price. You can manually adjust how strong you want it to diffuse and you can also add some essential oils if you want. It’s been great during the flu season

   This raises the humidity level about 5% in a 12×12 room but if you have constant dry air coming through, it has a really hard time keeping up. It needs to be placed far away from anything as condensation will build up on whatever is close. I put it near a register and an air purifier/small fan blowing it out into the room and it didn’t have a problem with condensation then. It is really more localized than anything else. If you use distilled water and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide each fill, cleaning is minimal (once a month) and really easy to do. The few drops of hydrogen peroxide each fill stopped all growth buildup. If you use tap water, cleaning will be weekly for sure. Tank running on high lasts about 12 hours.

   this humidifier with the filters was an excellent value for the price ! it was nearly SILENT! it is so quiet and peaceful. i love the smell alone. i bought it as a gift to a family member and they love it. I was hesitant because there are so many humidifiers & diffusers that tend to break within the first week BUT this leviot one is great quality! It also has such a sleek sophisticated design. the switch makes it a breeze to turn on and off or to adjust. i would def recommend this one in particular! the projection is vast because its filled a bigger room in the house.

   I bought this as my nose gets dry during the night and tends to bleed. With this I no longer have that problem. My husband also says his throat is no longer dry in the morning. It makes little to no noise if you have it cleaned and filled properly. I don’t find it hard to clean and clean it every 5 days. I have had it for 3 months and have never noticed mold growth when I tear it apart to clean. However, I do use distilled water and clean it regularly so that may be the reason I have kept it mold free.
