   I’ve made it through a winter with this now and it is still working well. It’s easy to refill the water, which is very important to me. You can adjust how much humidity is coming out, and it’s quiet. It isn’t very big, but I have it in a small bedroom and it works well.

   This is the best humidifier I’ve owned and I’ve had probably every style out there over the last 30 years! Humidifying the air helps so much when you or the kids are sick, especially with the night cough and sore throat from mouth breathing. So I’ve never been without one, and never been happy enough with one to buy it twice. But I would 100% buy this one again if it stopped working. It puts out a lot of moisture without getting the surrounding area wet. I have it on a cloth because I drip water when I’m filling it, the humidifier itself doesn’t cause anything to be wet. You can adjust how much moisture you want with a dial, and it is totally silent. You can aim the vapor by turning a plate on the lid.. I love watching the cloud dissipate right over my bed! But the best thing about this is how easy it is to clean. Lift off the top section that holds the water and it with all its parts can be washed in the sink with dish soap. The bottom section can be wiped out with some vinegar water. IF you use distilled water you won’t have to do this often at all. IF you use distilled water your replaceable filter will last for weeks. (When I used tap water the filter turned yellow in a couple days.) I buy gallons of distilled water and 1/2 of a gallon will last for one night with the humidifier on max output. For me it’s totally worth buying distilled water to not have to clean mineral buildup off any parts, not need to replace the filter more than 2x a month, which is when I wash all the removable parts. Super low maintenance!! Especially compared to past humidifiers I’ve had with giant filters, layers of mineral deposits on parts, white dust on everything, wet carpet around the machine.. the list goes on, but NONE of those issues with this LEVOIT top-fill humidifier. Definitely recommend you get this one.
