  • It’s a good filter, however I’m not sure how much better this toxin absorber one is than the original filter. They both have the pre filter, hepa filter and activated charcoal. This one say it includes some arc formula which I haven’t discovered what that consists of for dealing with VOCs however, regular activated charcoal will adsorb VOCs. I will likely stick to the original filter going forward unless I become aware of any elevated VOCs or toxins in my house or area, but in that event I think it would be more necessary to address the source and fix the cause then just hope this thing filters them all out considered we don’t know it’s removal capacity.

  • I purchased this air purifier in 2020 and while most of the reviews here are positive, if you visit the actual company's site for this particular model, you'll see a much different picture as far as ratings. The avg there is 2.1 at the time of this review, and just like many of the other reviews there, my unit stopped working after 2yrs, just after the warranty expired. I guess I should feel lucky, mine almost made it to 3yrs, but fell short by several weeks. That's sad to say, especially after I had just purchased a bundle of replacement filters. I regularly changed my filters, kept the unit clean, and recently, when I tried to turn it on, there was power, but no response. I followed all of the recommended troubleshooting tips, and nothing. The light came on, but the touch screen would not work at all. It seems there is a common theme across many of the negative reviews, the touch screen stops working after 2 years. Mine was great while it lasted and I really liked this purifier; it kept the air in my small home clean. I now have to search for a new one, which likely my recently purchased filters won't fit, so not only do I have an expensive, non-working air purifier, I'm stuck with expensive filters I can't use. I am very hesitant to purchase anything else of the same brand (Levoit), especially after seeing so many negative reviews on their website about the same issue (non-responsive touch screen after 2yrs). This experience has also taught me not to solely rely on reviews here, but to also search elsewhere because there is a huge discrepancy in ratings between the company site and this one.

  • 5 out of 5
Easy to use and works great for the price. You can manually adjust how strong you want it to diffuse and you can also add some essential oils if you want. It’s been great during the flu season

  • I bought this purifier because I really wanted one that I could turn on from my phone while laying in bed, since I am completely blind in the dark due to my vision impairment, and I don't necessarily have anywhere to place this type of electronic near my bed that was the major deal breaker for me. This air purifier is about the size of a PS5, but a little more convenient due to the cylinidrical shape of it. The app set up is easy and it allows you to auto order a new filter through the app via a scheduled set up. I have mine set up for every 6 months and you can tell the difference between the 2 filters after those 6 months.... the app also will tell you the life on your filter left and will tell you the air quality/ pollen count outside of your home. All the modes do exactly as they say and the sleep mode is ultra quiet which is nice. I've been using this air purifier for almost 2 years now and it is still working great. You can immidetly tell when you take it out of the box that it is a good high quality purifier and not a purifier where they say its high quality and after a week it stops working... My last purifier was lmof a lower quality and stopped working with-in a year, but also I paid $50 for that one and I didn't have a dog at that time. It is so nice to have a higher quality purifier that works exactly as it says on the ads. The app also includes other Levoit electronics you can add to your account so you have all your Lwvoit products in one spot on your phone which I think is so mice and easy. The app is also really easy to use and to set up everything on, it looks and feels very professional and easy which I really enjoy. I love opening up my app and seeing all my Levoit electronics in one spot, ready to turn on or off, or to change any mode it's on to something different. You can aslo set up a schedule of when you would like your devices to turn on and off and what mode to use whenbit does. The purifier has been so helpful with my allergies as it takes about 10 minutes for my severe allergy symptoms to begin subsiding a good amount after coming inside from walking the dog. To some 10 minutes may sound like a long time, but to someone with really really REALLY awful allergies 10 minutes is well worth the wait... Also, the air suction is powerful enough where I have to wipe I'm purifier down with a clean and dry paper towel to get some dog hair off of the sides where the air flows into the machine. It's also kept the infamous "dog smell" from settling in my room. I highly recommend this purifier it's great and if/when this one goes, I will definitly be purchasing another Levoit brand...

  • Wow, I love this vacuum, light weight and the attachments are just snap ons. Like the fact that the cradle has two pins to charge the battery while it's docked. No longer need a broom to clean the house. Only thing i dislike is the battery doesn't last long enough but it still beats dragging an extension cord around. Highly recommend

  • I love these air purifiers for our bedrooms. It’s wildfire season aka Summer in the PNW. I purchased these last year and they really help along with our large honeywell air purifier hpa300 in our main living area. These run quiet on level 1 and sound like a fan on low speed on level 2. If the air quality is hazardous we run them on level 3. The filter lasts a long time which is a bonus. My only complaint is the charcoal pre-filters that came with the 2021 replacement filters are very see through compared to the denser charcoal filters that came with my 2020 order. I don’t think it will trap as much dust and smells.

  • I can’t agree more to have a purifier & cleaning & changing when needed. I have a small apartment with a short haired dog. I am not a fan of dust or dog hair, so not only do I keep this changed out & clean. I also make sure I have my own air filters put in to maintain the dust flow in my home. It’s a real upkeep, but is a must for me. So I have no complaints on this piece & having one in your home.

  • Great Device with a high Failure Rate, but Good customer Support Update (2021-02-16) 2nd of original 2 devices has failed the same way as the 1st. I bought 2 of these air purifiers loving things that connect to WIFI, and living in California with spring allergies. They do excellent at cleaning a room (I think the carbon filters are overkill - but no biggie.) On high they keep the air in a room circulating, but do put out a fair amount of noise - could double as a white noise machine if you want that. The App seems a slight bit janky, but works as expected. on low they are basically silent - and on auto they self select a speed based on detected air quality. If were are cooking up a storm they can go into overdrive for example. I ran 2 of them on high for around 6 months, and then adjusted them to auto as the seasons changed to a socal winter- a few weeks later i was certain something was wrong with one of them as it was constantly going from bad air to totally clean air along with the change in noise level that brings. (Sounded a bit like the ocean - noisy then quiet, noisy, then quiet.) I went to clean it out and replace its filter for a second time and per the instructions cleaned the air sensor (little optical sensor accessed from the side of the unit) and when i plugged it back in it wouldn't turn on. Tried all the things and was stumped. Contacted support with my levoitoutlet.com receipt - and some pictures of the dead unit + its control panel - they said normally they would send me a replacement, but due to covid had none in stock. They ended up sending me a levoitoutlet.com gift card for the value - and I've already got a new one on order from this very page. Its probably not the best air filtration money can buy, BUT it is excellent for reduction of particulates, and reduction of allergens. It connects to wifi and is controllable via app, alexa, and google home - it can be set with timers, and be left on all the time in auto mode, or sleep mode - it can live next to your bed or in your living room - being a nice square thing it fits in more places than the common round filters. Honestly despite my 50% failure rate I would go for it again (I literally have by buying an identical replacement)

  • This is a wonderful product! No more pet smells in the living area!

  • The yellow is my old one that originally came with my humidifier, the white is newer. The filters are thinner, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find a cheaper replacement for next time

  • I’ve had this air purifier for 3 years now. Change the filters every 4ish months. I have 3 big dogs and even vacuuming every day there’s just so much dust/dander.

  • Handy because top fill is easier if you use 1-1/2 gal. but to fill with unit in place. Puts out good moisture for 24 hrs. if set on high. Have had 3 months. No problems.

  • ok let me tell you.. i was hesitate on buying this fan because i’ve had a tower fan in the past and it was like your typical fans that just blow hot air.. but this fan y’all.. im blown away!! it cools the room down INSTANTLY and it has a remote that controls the settings which is a huge plus not having to stand up and turn it off etc. my room is the hottest in the house and this has cooled down my room so much. BUY IT NOW!! you won’t regret it. might get another one for my boys room.

  • I vape and I was starting to smell nicotine, so decided to buy tha small Levoit air purifier. I’ve been carrying it from my living room to bedroom where it has made a huge difference however, I recently learned that I had dust mites and that air purifiers help with that as well so I’m purchasing one for each room in my home. My cousin owns a few as well and they last forever. She’s always had them in her home now I know whyThe filters get changed about every six months if you leave it on constantly. I didn’t splurge on the Wi-Fi feature which is $50 extra. I’m on a budget and I’m fine getting up and turning it on or switching the modes. My con is that the high mode is a little bit noisy with tv on. I don’t normally have it on high sometimes just for an hour or so. Other than that I love it.

  • Old vs new. Its amazing how fast this things cleans the air and everytime we change the filter I’m so grossed out but impressed!!
