I have over 100 houseplants and one thing they crave in our crazy New England weather is humidity. I love that this Levoit unit is Bluetooth-capable because it makes using it easy and versatile. I like to have the humidifier turn on in the morning and run for 6 hours each day - this unit makes that goal very achievable. It holds a generous 6 liters (1.59 gallons) of water so that I do not have to refill it every day. The program sends an alert to my phone when the tank needs to be refilled or cleaned. I could not have asked for anything better or easier to use! I LOVE this humidifier for my plants.

I can’t recommend this product enough. This filter traps so much dust and dirt. It makes a noticeable difference. I feel like the price is reasonable for the quality and a typical replacement is required every 3-4 months, possibly more frequently if you have pets. This is my 3rd time replacing. Very satisfied with this product.

I didnt notice before but most of these reviews are for the smart version of this humidifier. I got the non smart version. It works wonderfully. It is easy to fill, can potentially work through the night on setting 1 or 2, and has an optional nightlight. It has a 5 star function. However, I gave it 2 stars despite all this because it is extremely difficult to clean. If you check out my pictures there is a red slimy film on the inside of the humidifier that I cannot get to. It is in tight spaces that I can't reach with a straw cleaner or q tip. I tried sitting it a part vinegar solution and then separately in a part bleach solution, but it doesn't go away! This was not designed well for repeated use since you can't clean those areas. I just threw it away and I'm so disappointed. The search for an affordable easy to clean humidifier continues.

This item was delivered in a clearly previously used and taped box. It was not packaged in it's original packaging. It was not packaged at all. Filter was loosely in the machine, not in plastic. Bottom was not attached. No directions were included. This was clearly a used item. I purchased new.

Not sure why some people are saying this doesn't fit the Levoit 300 RAC, but it definitely fits. Here are side by side photos. You can tell which one is the old one vs the new one.

I never leave levoitoutlet.com reviews but I really geeked out over this...specifically the reviews about EMF & radiation. I had to do an experiment of my own... (Note: I am not a scientist.) SUMMARY: yes, this Levoit model DOES have much higher than usual EMF compared to other home appliances & electronics. DETAILS: I bought this air purifier over a year ago. It worked fine, for the money. (I am sure those $500 ones are fantastic. But this one did the trick.) We moved recently to a new apartment. And I wanted to get a second purifier to use in the area where the litterboxes are (which is pretty close to the living room/kitchen). I went back to the purifier I bought a year ago... went down to the reviews (which maybe I skipped the first time)... and was slightly horrified when I read all these reviews of people saying it had high EMF. What is EMF?! Is it dangerous!? How much?! So that's when the rabbit hole began... First - I want to acknowledge that there is some inconclusive evidence about how dangerous EMF is. You can google & read up on it — but it sounds like in the scientific community there are some mixed conclusions. Next - I did a bunch of air purifier research. Is EMF common for air purifiers? I couldn't fully figure it out. So I decided to buy my own EMF tester, a new (but different model) air purifier also from Levoit, and do a little testing... RESULTS: See attached photos. This Levoit Model: - Yes, the Levoit model (BLACK in photo) I had for over one year had an extremely high score when I went up close to it. The score went higher on the higher settings. The photo I have is from the highest setting & very close. (First Photo) - However, when you step a few feet away - it was fine. Even at about 2 feet away it was OK/the detector went off. The new pet Levoit model I just purchased: - It still gave a high reading compared to other home appliances. But much less than the current Levoit model I had for 1+ years. (In the photos - it is the white purifier. Photo 2 is at the lowest setting on it. Photo 3 shows the highest setting for it.) Other appliances: - Our 77 inch TV + soundbar was 0 re: EMF (h-field). (4th picture) - The router barely spit off a number. (5th picture - I am looking at the bottom # which is the magnetic field) - And the microwave? Lower than I thought it would be. Yes, the microwave is on! (6th photo) Note: the microwave here is very new, and very high quality. I am sure an older microwave could have a very different reading. - I tested our heating/cooling unit in the wall -- nothing alarming. (7th photo) AND THEN - I decided to test two more, similar things: a cheap, crappy fan and a space heating. The cheap, crappy fan had a horrifically high EMF reader. Higher than the Levoit model in question. (And it's so much smaller, too!?) (8th photo. This was turned on the highest setting.) I thought the little space heater would spit out an insanely high reading as well... but to my surprise, it did not. (Last photo.) CONCLUSION: - I am getting rid of this Levoit model, and I am getting rid of the crappy little fan with an even higher EMF result - I want to reiterate that when I walked just a tiny bit away from the Levoit air purifier, the EMF tester stopped going off. It only was when you were really close to it that it gave a very high reading. - I am holding onto the Pet Levoit for now.... (literally got it today) - But I am going to order a different brand, well-researched air purifier and see what that looks like in terms of EMF reading (and possibly return the Pet Levoit -- white in photos.) - If a new purifier, from a different brand w/ good reviews, also has a high(er than usual) EMF reading - I may start to think that most/all plug-in air devices are this way!? Who knows. ----- Anyway, hope this helps some people!!

This is a solid, well-designed product with mostly user-friendly features. Just be prepared to find a workaround for cleaning purposes. You should try it.

If you want a HEPA filter for a bedroom or for travel (by auto or when you can afford to carry LARGE suitcases, like on a cruise), the Levoit 200S is a great choice. Though another reviewer had the 200S confiscated by a cruise company, we were able to take ours aboard a ship in August 2022. We contacted the cruise line (Holland America Line) ahead of time by email, packed the 200S in its original box with the certification circled in Sharpie to highlight it, and also wrote "FAN, no heat!" on the box with a pen. (We taped the email where HAL told us it would be okay to use on the ship to the box, and also taped a cruise line issued luggage tag to the box for identification.) HAL inspected the unit as part of the checked luggage process, and it appeared in our room without any issue or further communication alongside our other luggage. The 200S in its box will fit in a large (deep) checked suitcase or an oversized tote bag. It isn't too heavy to carry, even for someone with arthritic joints, but it is rather bulky. For home use, anyone of any age or health status should be able to carry this to the desired room and set it up. All users should note that the filter is WRAPPED IN PLASTIC when the unit is brand new. If you don't unwrap the filter inside the plastic casing, your 200S will be totally unable to filter any allergens. Double check this upon receipt, though a sticker on the unit did remind me to take this step when I first unboxed my 200S HEPA machines. For a cruise stateroom, one of the top features of the 200S model in particular is the built in nightlight. My kids were in an inside cabin with no natural light, and the small nightlight was helpful at night. One of my teens will take this to college for use in a dorm, and the feature may also be good there. I tried a Levoit Mini, which is a nicer size for travel, but it is too small for most bedrooms and the lack of nightlight made me prefer to pack the larger 200S for our cruise. (I've added a photo showing the Levoit 200S stacked below the Levoit Mini along with a tiny PURE HEPA for size comparison for those seeking a travel HEPA option.) Best of all, the nightlight on the 200S is only a feature, and it can be shut off with a tap. The operating lights (glowing touchscreen "buttons") CAN ALSO BE TURNED OFF COMPLETELY, so this unit will run absolutely dark. If light bothers you when you sleep, as it does me, this is perfect. Switching the button lights off does make is somewhat harder to find the correct spot to tap to adjust the speed or turn the lights back on, but I only do this once per day typically, so it is well worth the tradeoff. The Levoit 200S will run totally dark, but there will always be a whirring fan noise because air movement is necessary for the filtration to occur. My kids dislike white noise and run the machine on low when they sleep. I find white noise soothing, and usually keep the unit in my bedroom on setting 2 of 3. If allergens seem bad, or during the day on the cruise ship when the cleaners would enter the room, we run the noisier setting 3 for maximum filtration. It's hard to quantify how well these remove allergens compared to other units, but I've seen good reviews of a related model in Wirecutter so I'm optimistic. Certainly, these are lighter in weight and more aesthetically pleasing than the Honeywell models I used back in the 1980's, though the old metal shells felt sturdier than today's plastic ones. No HEPA filter can work properly if it is undersized to the room, but combining two (or more) small machines in a larger room is an option. Having the internal fan pull in air at multiple points can actually work better than one stronger fan operating to one side of a large or irregularly shaped room. Since my bedroom is larger than the kids', we run two units to reduce allergens there, one one either side of our king sized bed. This isn't the model to buy if you want it to work alone in a large room, but it is reasonable for most small to moderately sized bedrooms. The larger the room, the higher the fan setting you'll need for it to be effective. Only air that passes through the filter has allergens removed from it. I've never bothered with the Smart features on this model. Since I'm trying to reduce allergens where I sleep, I can easily reach the controls. I use the nightlight as I get ready for bed and to walk from the bathroom without bright lights on, then I switch that off and climb into bed in full darkness. For me, this model is perfect.

The LEVOIT LV-H132 Air Purifier is a need if you reside in Florida. With concise instructions that walk you through each process, the filter system's opening, closing, and replacement are all made easy. The two primary components of the well-designed system are the main filter and a black screen that captures bigger particles, such as hair. This filter's flawless design is one of its best features; unlike other filters with ambiguous directions and strange designs, it is nearly impossible to install this one wrong. But bear in mind that tiny rooms are the ideal fit for this purifier. The device is not as large as it looks, and the internal fan is insufficient to move air around a greater area. Since the fan is at the bottom of the device, I advise setting it on a table to prevent carpet fibers from obstructing the airflow. This purifier was useful to me throughout my COVID-19 isolation, and it was effective enough to prevent any further illnesses in my family. It's crucial to keep an air purifier on ready for emergencies during times like these. But keep in mind that this type works best in smaller spaces, and you might need a second fan to help the air move more efficiently.

This air purifier definitely works! Old filter changed after 6 months compared to this replacement. Only drawback is the cost, @60 each looks like well over a hundred dollars a year to maintain this unit.

I have a dog that uses indoor potty pads and never have a smell of urine in my house! Nice to see all the dust and particles it collets too. Definitely recommend

The humidity sensor isn’t consistent in the first day (keep saying it’s 65% which I think is way higher). As others described, after the first date, the sensor seems to be stable. I don’t have another humidity sensor to compare for accuracy. But i guess i would trust it for now. Aside from that, everything works just fine. Like the app setup experience - very smooth! It was quieter than my other old humidifier. Am considering getting another LEVOIT.

This air purifier and filter do such a great job! This is a comparison after only 4 months. Shocked!

I have a huge dust problem in my house (only 26 years old). We have 2 new ACs and furnaces, also a huge hepa filter on the AC system, and still use thinner hepa filters on the returns to prevent air from getting into the system, which we change every 30 day days on the dot. I did notice a huge increase in dust when we used the heaters last month during the freeze here in Houston. We’ve done some remodeling but it’s been a good 1.5-2 years, so I have no idea why we have this amount of dust still. You’d think I would have vacuumed it all up by now. We have a doodle, so NO shedding. I have a dust allergy, have to take Allegra daily, always itchy. Between that and the dust…I was looking for a purifier that could take care of bedrooms and not break the bank. I was extremely skeptical of this purifier, it had some bad and good reviews. I thought for $40 I’d test it out. However I just went to vacuum it after about 4-5 weeks, it was loaded! I run it on low to high, sometimes turn it off for a few days, doesn’t run consistently. You can even see the dimples from where the dust was accumulating in the holes of the outer casing. I was pleasantly surprised. Enough to get on levoitoutlet.com and share my review and post a pic of this filter. However my furniture still gets covered in dust, I don’t notice a difference in that yet. I’m still itchy. But I’m happy it’s sucking up dust that would otherwise be in my nose/lungs, or on my furniture/bed. I do think it helps with odors as well. It’s definitely worth it for $40 and I really like that I can vacuum the filter.
