  • Best air purifier! I also have dyson air purifier and the Levoit wins! I ran both purifier in the same room (opposite end of the room) and same timeframe as a test and to see which performs better. Check out the results for yourself. The tall filter is the Dyson vs the short filter is Levoit.

  • Let me first say tha we have 3 different brand large room air filters and this Levoit air filter is by far my favorite one. Actually I bought 2 of these filters. We have an open 900 square foot living room, dining room and kitchen. So it was necessary to buy 2 filter machines. We might buy a third one. One of my favorite things about this machine is it is very sensitive to the air quality. Let me explain. There is a lighted circle on top of the machine that changes 4 differt colors. We found this out by frying some vegetables in the kitchen, which is part of the large open room. One Levoit is about 15 feet from the stove and the other is probably 25 feet from the stove. After a few minutes of frying the lighted circle turned red meaning the air is bad. I never knew this would happen. Well as I looked every few minutes at the circle I saw it change next to yellow/orange, then to green and finally to blue. I love knowing that it is actually monitoring our air quality while it is being used. Gives me a little more piece of mind. Now as far as noise, it is quite loud on the highest setting. But on medium and low you barely can hear them. I only turn them on high when I notice the air quality light change. We leave them on medium 24hrs a day. Yes, I think I could easy sleep with this in my bedroom on medium. It would just be like white noise. It might be hard to sleep with it on high. All three brands of air filters I own are quite loud on high but quiet down considerably on medium. Look at the picture of each of my air filter machines. You can see the size comparison with them sitting next to each other. I don't have any air testing equipment so I can't actually tell you which one does a better job in a certain size room or anything like that. My personal opinion is the Levoit works very fast and does a great job. My machines: 1. Levoit - 2 of them in our 900 Sq ft room. 2. HoMedics - used in our bedroom. 3. Winix - C545 used in my den. HoMedics and Winix were purchased at Coostco. I have never used Levoit in sleep mode although if I used it while sleeping it would be on medium and I'm sure I could easily sleep.

  • I painstakingly researched fans for weeks before finally deciding on this one. I was concerned about the small footprint and powerful fan but the pedestal is actually very heavy which stabilizes the unit quite well. It is remarkably quiet which was partially a downside for a ‘sleeping fan’ but the amount of air that it pushes outweighs that concern. The height of the fan is perfect for blowing just over the bed. I typically never use remotes that come with devices but this one is convenient to change the speed of the fan without having to get up. The unit feels like great quality and not cheaply built. I even took it outside at one point and it was nice that everyone could have a conversation over the quietness of the fan and not have to yell. Overall this has been the best fan I have ever purchased.

  • Dealing with the indoor air during winter can be frustrating, especially when it's filled with dust, pollen, or smoke—particularly if you have allergies or respiratory issues. I was really struggling with constant sneezing and a stuffy nose, and I was desperate to find something that would improve the air quality in both my bedroom and office. I decided to try the LEVOIT Air Purifier, and I was amazed by how quickly I noticed a difference. The purifier is compact yet powerful, and within just a few hours, the air in my rooms felt noticeably fresher. It does an excellent job of filtering out dust, and pollen, which has made a huge difference for my allergies. Plus, the optional night light is a great feature—it gives off a soft, soothing glow without being too bright, making it perfect for nighttime. What I found is that the LEVOIT Air Purifier solved my air quality problem without being loud or bulky. It runs quietly, takes up very little space, and I can keep it running all day or night without any issues. Between the efficiency of the filter and the added comfort of cleaner air, this purifier has truly made a noticeable difference in how I feel every day.

  • Great buy..retains water for hours.nice color.durable.easy to fill.great size.it gets the job done..& you can add essential oil to a side compartment..

  • The two filters in the pictures are the same type of filter, the app for my air filter said the one on the right had 20% life left. These filters work insanely well.

  • I took a chance on this. I like the Levoit brand, I have an air purifier by them. It works great. But, there were mixed reviews on many of their humidifiers. This one, in particular, I liked the best because of the size and price but it had zero reviews. On their website, it says "new" so I guess that's why. But, I am really glad I bought this. It is so quiet, it doesn't make bubbling or gurgling noises like my Vicks humidifier did. It's a top fill which makes it really easy to pour the water in. It's a perfect size too! I keep it on my nightstand. I do have a little washcloth under it just in case it does leak because my old humidifier did all the time, but it has not yet so it's just a precaution. Despite it being smaller than my old humidifier, when filled to the max fill line it lasts pretty long before needing a refill, which is nice. It doesn't take very long to clean and comes with a brush to get in the nook and crannies (or you can just use a paper towel). It's amazing. I also love how simple it is. There was a similar one that connected to an app, but sometimes that stuff doesn't work right. This has a simple on-off dial and you adjust to how much mist you want coming out. Very easy. Now, something I have realized from scrolling through hundreds of reviews for other Levoit humidifiers and non-Levoit ones, most people don't know how to use humidifiers properly. First off, you need to read the instruction manual. There you will learn you need to use purified or distilled water. If you don't want to go and buy either of those from the store constantly, then don't use a humidifier. I buy distilled water in the jugs from the water aisle. This is especially important if you live somewhere with hard water. I live in Arizona and we have very hard water (and our house has no soft water filter), I used to use tap water in my old warm mist humidifier and there would be so much mineral build-up. I know better now. Apparently, if you use tap water in a cool-mist humidifier, it may cause white dust around the unit. But, since I use distilled I have not had this issue. You will also learn from the manual how and how often to clean it. You should clean it when it's brand new, you should change the water daily, and you should clean it every 3 days. There are also instructions to do a deep clean if necessary. I use vinegar to clean it as per the instructions every 2-3 days. Also, I make sure to clean every little corner and clean the inside of the top spout. I have seen SO many reviews where people complain of mold (in other models) and this is almost always because they aren't cleaning their humidifier enough or cleaning it properly. I saw a one-star review and the entire base and inside were filled with dark green mold, they said they hadn't cleaned it in 3 weeks! That's crazy! Please don't do that! As long as you take care of your humidifier, use it right, and clean it right you will have no mold problem. I have had it for 2 weeks now. I live in Arizona so it's about 5% humidity here. My skin is so dry and after coming back from a Caribbean vacation (where it is very humid), I knew I needed more moisture in the air and this humidifier has done the trick. My skin is doing so much better now. I also have pretty bad allergies and my nose feels much less dry all the time, too which is nice. I highly recommend it!!!

  • Bought this to replace my old Honeywell unit that ran for 3 years, motor started heating up. After researching for a replacement I ended up getting this unit. For not being energy certified this unit actually uses less wattage then the Honeywell unit. which was certified. CADR and area coverage being almost the same. Design is much nicer. Noise level about the same but the Levoit does make a fluctuating whooshing air sound on speed 2 and 3. Still looking into why it does that. Doesn't bother us when sleeping. Replacement filters are cheaper. The activated carbon filter is thicker than the Honeywell. With the Honeywell acts more like a pre-filter then odor absorption, it does nothing with odor. This one actually absorb cooking odor. It’s also place after the HEPA which I haven't seen many other units. I haven't had the unit long enough on how my frequency of vacuuming the pre-filter or replacement. I will update. 2 years warranty. I haven't used the auto feature I just manually set the unit to speed 2 and when cooking to speed 3. So far am pleased with the purchase. Update : 11/07/2018 Been less then 2 years and 3 HEPA filter changes. Before replacing the 3rd filter i decided to look inside the fan area and to my surprise to find a lot of dust have collected inside. Contacted company and after going back and forth via emails they stopped responding. Unit is still under warranty since i registered the unit on their site and got the extra year. So i guess am on my own on this. Removed the filter and noticed there is streak of dust collecting in the right side where a hole is. See picture. Used a flashlight on the holes the cover sits on and looked inside the blower area and sure enough i can see the gaps where air can bypass the HEPA filter. I have a Winix unit for the leaving room and there is no visible dust that has collected in the blower area and its been running for 6 years straight and 1 year filter changes. This unit ive been replacing every 6 months because it was place in my kid room who has environmental allergies. Ill take it apart, clean the blower area and try to seal it. But definitely not going back in my kids room. Once I used up the last HEPA filter ill be getting another WINIX brand. If you have this unit i would recommend you looking inside the blower area if dust have collected inside. Pretty disappointed with myself should of stuck with the brand i knew was working for us.

  • I’m annoyed that it was advertised as covering up to 1,095 sq ft, but when I opened the two-pack it says that each one covers up to 219 sq ft . . . The singleton option also says 1,095 sq ft, so I assumed the two-pack would allow me to cover just under 2,200 sq ft. They are quiet though.

  • I bought the levoitt humidifier on a prime deal in October. It came with two filters Then I figured buy the genuine filter replacement. I'm not sure if these are genuine. The one on the top came with Mt humidifier, the one on the bottom came in the refill pack. Definitely different consistency. The refill is denser original porous. Also the refill isn't cut in a straight line, their are waves on top. I don't know of these refills are legit.

  • Because of how expensive this is I have tried to like it, I really have. But this is an overpriced piece of garbage. Saying this picks up pet fur is nothing short of false advertising. Any and all hair will get stuck in the vacuum before it gets into the canister because whatever halfwit designed it decided to make the filter so big it was barely a quarter of an inch away from the intake, causing hair to to get stuck and causing you to have to unclog the vacuum while the canister is almost completely empty. I have a short haired dog and a small house that’s barely 1000 sq/ft, I vacuum at least once a week, and I have to stop to unclog this piece of crap at least 3-4 times to vacuum the whole house. I have cleaned the filters multiple times and nothing fixes this issue because the overall design is horrible. You’re better off vacuuming your floor with a tiny battery powered car vacuum than using this, especially if you have pets. This is WAY too expensive to have such a stupid design flaw. Save yourself the money and buy literally any other vacuum.

  • Love this fan....You can shut off the LED function screen, if you're a sensitive sleeper like myself. 5 speeds and really quiet but still get the fan sound I love falling asleep to! 😴 Has multiple functions like: Timer, Ausilates, and comes with a remote!

  • Best thing I did for myself was buy an air purifier. I have a Guinea Pig and he eats hay. On a nice dry breezy day I like my windows open. Do still need to dust once in awhile. It helps.

  • Ordered 2 of these in 2021. It has been great at keeping smells out and air smelling clean. We keep one in our bedroom that we only run at night. The one we keep in our family room that runs most days is not doing too well. This past year the top section where the buttons are has started to separate from the machine. It didn’t make a different at first but it has recently started to output a metal/chemical smell. It has been used more than the other one but I’m disappointed they don’t last longer than a couple of years.
