I bought 3 different cheap humidifiers before this one and wasted all that time and money and all it did is cause rusting issues in my plant cabinet. This one does what I need it too. This is whisper quiet, effecient, and I can set my target humidity range and it runs just when it falls below that point until it reaches 5% above the target range. No more wet inside plant cabinet. The app allows you to create a schedule if you want or you can run it auto and if you're like me and have more than 1 levoit you can have them all housed in one area for cleaning reminders and controls. Seriously if you're like ehhh I can get one for 20 bucks, just pay the extra bit (if you can) and get this one. You won't be disappointed. I am disappointed I didn't just go with this one in the first place.

Best air purifier ever!! Easy to fill up with water. I put the essential Frida baby oil in there when my toddlers and I are sick and this works everytime for us!! Wish I would’ve bought this product sooner.

I bought this knowing that I could return it. I was super hesitant, had low expectations (especially with all the reviews with the product still in the plastic wrapping) but was in a pinch and needed a 2nd humidifier. Oh man!! I'm honestly SUPER PLEASED with this product and have zero plans to return it. I didn't think a small humidifier could moisten an entire master bedroom but IT DOES. And it is shockingly quiet. 1 to 10, 1 being I literally hear nothing, the noise level is a 1.5/2. I have to be intentionally listening in order to hear it (with the exception of the occasional bubble when the chamber refills). The bowl fits in my bathroom sink which makes refilling easy. The nob that keeps the water in is super easy to remove and re-attach. The water is sealed in, no leakage! Also, the mist shoots up higher than my Vicks humidifier, so no wet carpets when using for long periods of time. Awesome humidifier!

I ordered “like new” and received a filthy filter that had clearly been used - it looked about as bad as the one I was replacing! Gross. Edit: I ordered another “like new” replacement after returning the dirty filter. This one arrived clean (fortunately) but looks like it’s been through a battle. I’m less than impressed.

I like that I can see what the air quality is. It is now 00.1 which is very good but if the door is left open it jumps up to 021 or higher. I wish it would suck up pet hair but I don’t see any movement.

I'm going to talk mostly about the filters, and it's important since normally, you'd be replacing these the most. I bought this machine in June 2023 during the Smogpocalypse in NYC cause I had an elderly bird, and birds are deathly sensitive to bad air. It's now October 2024 and I learned something wonderfully new about these filters! Thanks to a thin border of Velcro around the inside of the cardboard frame, the side of the filter where the dust gathers, is actually a reapplicable sheet of felt-like fabric! I had been 'beating' the frame the way you'd beat a rug to remove dust. And it cracked the frame. So I planned to toss it. But I'm also a curious person who likes to see how things are put together. So while gingerly pulling the filter apart, I discovered I could just clean the part with the felt and put it back on! This isn't mentioned in the product care guide. I love this about it though and will recommend this product even more cause the filters can be thoroughly cleaned.

First off Most of the levoitoutlet.com Reviews listed here are for the LV6000S not the LV600S. The LV600S is 6 Litter or 1.58 gallon 2 very different Humidifiers. I recently purchased the Levoit LV600S Humidifier, and it has been an absolute delight to use. Its performance and features have made a significant difference in my home environment. I do use Distilled Water as recommended. I may convert to a Reverse Osmosis Table Top Unit with a removable Mineral Filter so I have Pure Water with NO minerals etc. The humidification efficiency of the LV600S is exceptional. The design of the LV600S is sleek and modern, fitting in well with any home decor. It operates very quietly. I amazed how quiet it is as I am a Light Sleeper and any noise wakes me up. I do not use the WiFi Mode as I do not have a Smart Phone. My Only Complaint is In the "Sleep Mode" the Unit Auto Shuts OFF when Humidity is above 60% at the Humidifier (The Humidity Sensor is at the Air Intake on the side of the Unit). While the rest of my Bedroom is at 35% Humidity. Bummer. I got up at 2 am to turn it back ON. I've come to the conclusion that this Humidifier would benefit GREATLY by having it synced with the remote sensor. Again, the biggest improvement Levoit could possibly come out with, is a compatible remote sensor that works WITH THE HUMIDIFIER to more accurately Read The Room Humidity. I have put my Humidifier on a table and it works much better with No Shut OFF in Sleep Mode. I also moved it to a different location away from my bed. So I changed rating to 5 star!!!

This is 6 months on the lowest setting. I have two cats and a dog and I live in a major city. I leave it on low 24/7. It's very quiet and the filter clearly does a great job.

I've had my little air purifier for a long time now and I ran just finally out of replacement filters (I ordered a bunch of extras when I first ordered it a few years ago). For a while people kept commenting on the purifier's listing that you could no longer get the replacement filters but that isn't the case. Obviously you know, as you're reading this review on the filter's page haha. This set comes with both the pre filter (which I usually rinse out like once a week because of cat hair) and the main hepa one. They fit perfectly and it means I don't need to go buy a new/different purifier.

To say the least… this works GREAT! I change the filter every 6 months and vacuum it every 2 weeks and WOW!!! Time to change them out again!! Highly recommend!

This purifier is better than the little Westinghouse 1701. But not as good as the Winix 5500-2, primarily due to the amount of air flow. Although, the Levoit timer feature is better than the Winix. I am progressively buying more and more expensive purifiers looking for one that ACTUALLY eliminates formaldehyde. All of these purifiers talk a good game, but so far NONE of the ones I've tried battled formaldehyde. Refer to the picture and check out the RED reading. That's the formaldehyde measurement = DANGEROUS levels ! Also notice the Air Quality is "Good." So everything else is fine, EXCEPT THE DANGEROUS FORMALDEHYDE. FORMALDEHYDE FAILURES THUS FAR: Westinghouse 1701 LEVOIT H13 Winix 5500-2 If you have a serious formaldehyde problem in your living space, the above purifiers will NOT cut it. ALSO if you haven't purchased a decent air quality meter, you're fooling yourself. Buy one and you'll be shocked at what's in your environment. The fact that your room smells "fresh" means absolutely nothing. Some of the most dangerous chemicals cannot be detected with your nose. If you only want a HEPA filter that removes particles from the air, the Levoit is not bad. I tested the auto feature by burning some incense and it worked well. I prefer to run a purifier all the time. But if you want to save energy by only running yours when there's a need, the Levoit will serve you well. The Winix timer only allows you to use pre-specified increments: 1,4 and 8 hours. Whereas, the Levoit allows you to designate 1-12 hours. That was much more convenient for setting the purifier to automatically turn off before the weekday peak electric rates kicked in. Cannot speak to longevity of the Levoit since I'm sending it back. If you've checked your environment with an air quality meter and formaldehyde is not a problem, then you might want to try out the Levoit. It's good for air particulate removal . . . but not much else.

It's unique bending rod is crap. It twisted & broke in less than 3 months. Trying to get replacement is unusually complicated & not worth the trouble Total waste of money Sent all requested information to company- photos, photonif # levoit numbers on back.of vacum.& purchase invoice & 1 phone call .Waiting to see if they reply.

Best air purifier! I also have dyson air purifier and the Levoit wins! I ran both purifier in the same room (opposite end of the room) and same timeframe as a test and to see which performs better. Check out the results for yourself. The tall filter is the Dyson vs the short filter is Levoit.
